Instructions
Remove the crawler kit from its packaging and locate the instruction booklet. All superclass crawler manufacturers provide detailed written and photographic instructions for you to follow so that your assembly will not give you any problems. All connection points for the crawler use a Philips screwdriver or the tools included with the kit.
Assemble the chassis of the superclass crawler first. There is a large plastic housing center section that holds the motor, battery and radio control receiver. Connect the suspension braces to the bottom and sides of this unit. The suspension braces are usually aluminum plate, though some crawlers may use plastic braces.
Assemble the front and rear axle, and then mount the shock absorber and spring units to the axle and the suspension braces. Mount the tires and wheels onto the axles.
Connect the front and rear drive shaft for the crawler motor to the axles. Note, however, that some crawlers don't use drive shafts. Some use a pair of motors, one on each axle, within a plastic housing that is connected to the axle in a single unit. These units are sealed to protect the drive train and do not require assembly.
Mount the body of the superclass crawler, install the necessary batteries and the crawler will be ready to run.
