How to Convert an M4 Stock Battery

Airsoft enthusiasts enjoy a sport designed to mimic military and police tactics with non-lethal toy firearms shooting small plastic pellets. Rather than using explosive propellants, many of these guns are battery powered or use compressed gas. The DBoys M4 CQB is mockup of the M4 military rifle in Airsoft form and uses a battery for power. You will need to take apart the stock of the gun and insert the stock battery to use the rifle.

     Remove the cover plate and screw from the back of the stock.

   • 2

     Push on the two tabs next to the battery casing to pop it out of place.

   • 3

     Insert your stock battery. Make sure the cables are facing out of the gun.

   • 4

     Connect the battery cable to the wire in the stock. Pop the battery casing back into place.

   • 5

     Replace the screw and cover plate.
