How to Adjust a JBJ Regulator

CO2 regulators, such as the ones manufactured by JBJ, are used by gardeners who own planted aquariums and wish to regulate the amount of carbon dioxide to which their plants have access. If you have a JBJ regulator installed, you can easily adjust the amount of CO2 the plants can access.

Instructions

    • 1

Plug the power cord extending from the regulator into a nearby AC power source to turn the regulator on.

    • 2

Turn the needle valve, located on the right side of the regulator, counterclockwise to open the regulator valve and allow more CO2 into the aquarium.

    • 3

Turn the needle valve clockwise to close the regulator valve and allow less CO2 into the aquarium.
