How to Make Homemade Tension Wrenches

Most people cannot buy one because they only sell lock pick sets to military and law enforcement officials. Those who cannot buy tension wrenches can build their own.

     Hold the paperclip with the two u-shaped curves pointing down.

     Straighten out the two curves that point down.

   • 3

     Pinch the remaining curve together with your pliers.

   • 4

     Measure down from the pinched curve about a quarter inch.

   • 5

     Bend the paperclip 90 degrees at the quarter-inch mark with your pliers.

   • 6

     Twist the short end of the paperclip around the long end using your fingers and pliers. This adds more stability to the tension wrench.
