Things You'll Need
Instructions
Trace the surface of your fingerboard onto a piece of paper. Use the outline of the deck to determine how much space you have available for your custom graphics.
Experiment with the graphics you want to put on your fingerboard. If you've found a design on a skateboard you like, you can draw it freehand in the outline you've made for the fingerboard so it fits on the deck.
Outline the designs you have drawn with a black fine-tipped marker to make them pop. Fine-tune your graphics, adding any layers of color and small details you want to your designs.
Scan the paper with your design on a digital scanner. Save the file on your computer and print it out on high-gloss picture paper.
Cut out your designs and arrange them on your fingerboard. Apply rubber cement to the back of you cutouts, then glue them onto the deck of your fingerboard. Let the rubber cement set completely.
