      Apply a latex caulk on all the joints of your RV.

      Cover all the joints and around the vent with rubber roof cement. Rubber roof cement looks like black tar. You can purchase this product at any local hardware store.

      Paint the roof of the RV with an exterior latex paint that matches the color scheme of your RV. Allow the paint to dry 24 hours before moving to the next step.

      Paint three coats of elastomeric roof coating on the roof. You can purchase this product at any local hardware or RV store.
