DIY: PVC Microdolly

Shooting a video from inches above the floor provides a different perspective than is normally seen. To enable your video camcorder to be moved across the floor, construct a dolly that the camera can be placed on. You will need supplies from a hardware store, including PVC pipe elbow joints, which will make up the dolly's structure. Only basic tools will be needed for this project.

  • 4 PVC elbow joints, 1/2-inch diameter
  • Bonding glue
  • Plywood square, 8-by-8 inches
