Things You'll Need
Instructions
Locate the center of the helmet, on the inside, where you want the microphone. Punch a hole in the fabric with a sharp object. Feed the microphone through the hole. Trail the wire between the helmet and the fabric, with the opposite end finishing outside the helmet.
Drill a hole on the outside of the helmet where you will secure the microphone wiring. Place masking tape over the outside of the helmet before drilling to protect the finish. Mount a P-clip bracket on the outside of the helmet and secure the microphone wiring to it.
Remove the cheek pad on the side you want to install the earpiece. Drill a second hole and mount a P-clip bracket on the outside of the helmet. Secure the earpiece to the P-clip with the rivets that came in your kit.
Connect the earpiece and microphone wires together. Your kit provides specific instructions about which wires connect together and how. Follow them.
Insert the cheek pad back into the helmet. Put the helmet on, test it out and make adjustments as necessary.
