How to Build a LEGO Halo Gremlin

The Gremlin Combat Support Vehicle, usually shortened to Gremlin, is a multi-purpose six-wheeled vehicle in the "Halo" video game series. This vehicle is essential to the protagonists in the "Halo" series because without it, they cannot go anywhere with rough terrain. Because the Gremlin is so essential, fans of the "Halo" series like the Gremlin. Using LEGO bricks, fans are able to build their own Gremlins. LEGO's Digital Designer program allows you to experiment with LEGO bricks before you buy the actual pieces.

  Download LEGO Digital Designer.

  Build the base of the Gremlin using dark green rectangular LEGO bricks. Click on large bricks in the screen to the left, then select dark green as the color to match the Gremlin. The cursor becomes the LEGO brick. Guide the brick to the center of the screen. Place the first brick on the center of the grid in the center of the screen. Add two more blocks on each side. Add four more rows of five blocks directly behind the first set to create a rectangular base.

  Click on the tires in the list of LEGO bricks. Add three tires to the long sides of the rectangle. Place one tire right after the first row, the second tire behind the second row and the third behind the third row.

  Build the Gremlin's backside. Stack more sets of dark green rectangular bricks to the third, fourth and fifth rows until the Gremlin is five sets of bricks high.

  Create the Gremlin's yellow dome. Click on large rectangular bricks and select yellow as the color. Stack the second row so that it is four bricks high, which is one brick lower than the bricks in Step 4. Stack the first row so that it is three bricks high, one brick lower than the second row. Place yellow sloped LEGO bricks on top of the first two rows to give the front of the Gremlin a curved look.
