How to Connect the Male and Female Plug to the Amplifier

When connecting a device to an amplifier, you must connect it using a cable with a male connector. A male connector has a single cylindrical plug on the end that fits into a female connector, called a jack. Connecting audio cables to an amplifier requires lining up the male connector with the appropriate female connector and plugging in the cable.

      Line up the pin from the male connector on the end of the cable with the female connector on the amplifier that you wish to plug the cable into.

      Press inward firmly to connect the cable to the amplifier. Do not force the plug; if it does not fit properly, ensure that the pin on the male connector is the correct size for the female connector.

      Grasp the connector and pull outward to unplug the device.
