LEGO 6980 Instructions

The LEGO franchise creates complex building block puzzles that turn into collector's items, such as the LEGO 6980 Galaxy Commander set. This complex LEGO set creates a spaceship to battle among the stars. With several tiny pieces and odd-shaped LEGOs, the 6980 is only for older kids or adults. As with every LEGO set, the game begins once you dump out all the pieces onto a clean flat surface.

  Visit Let's Build It Again's website. Enter "6980" for the LEGO Set Number. Click "GO."

  Click on "View LEGO Instructions 6980 Galaxy Commander." Wait for the instruction manual to load.

  Set out all of your LEGO pieces according to the visual manual. The instructions include several different blue pieces and white pieces. Separate each set by the part that you make for the set. For example, set the pieces for the dune buggy in one area and the flight ship in another.

  Build the LEGO men and dune buggies first before moving on to the complicated flight ship.

  Follow the visual instructions for the ship. Note each color and piece as you put it on the ship. Once you assemble the base of the ship, you go on to build the bridge and other parts of the ship. Go step by step through the instructions and compare your real model to the visual to ensure that you fit the pieces on in the right directions. Look for smaller pieces underneath or on the side when reading the manual in case you forget a piece.
