How to Build LEGO Nunchucks

The nunchuck is a weapon that came from China. The nunchuck connects two sticks by a piece of chain or rope. This odd design comes from the fact that the nunchuck was designed to look like a piece of farm equipment because, when it was developed in China, weapons were outlawed. Lego builds two models that come with nunchucks: No. 2259, the Skull Motorbike, and No. 2505, Garmadon's Dark Fortress. Both are part of the Ninjago Lego series, which takes East Asian subjects such as ninjas and combines them with toys within the Lego world.

Instructions

  Find the male ninja's parts in the playsets. In No. 2259, the male ninja is blue. In No. 2505, the male ninja is red. Both have six parts, including the nunchucks' two pieces.

  Connect the parts of the ninja. Snap the torso into the top of the legs. Push the head into the torso, then place the headgear around the head.

  Snap the nunchucks together. The nunchucks come in two pieces. One of the handles is permenatally attached to the chain. Attach the free handle to the open end of the chain.

  Place the nunchucks' handles into the hands of the ninja.
