How to Make a Photo Strip at Home

Photo strips are like snapshots into a moment in time, and creating them at home rather than sending your photos to a photo company saves you money. Photo strips are generally 2 inches wide and 6 to 8 inches long. They are used for enhancing a tack board, adding character to a framed picture or for scrapbooking. No matter the purpose of the photo strip, creating one requires only your computer and a few pictures.

Photo-editing software
4 photos
Photo paper
Scissors

Instructions

  Open up your photo-editing software. This software can be anything that will allow you to crop square pictures and adjust your canvas size.

  Adjust your canvas size to 2 inches by 6 inches for three pictures or 2 inches by 8 inches for four pictures.

  Open each selected picture or paste it onto your photo program's canvas.

  Crop the pictures into 2-by-2-inch squares.

  Arrange the thumbnail pictures on the canvas in the order they will appear on the photo strip.

  Save your project and print it on 8.5-by-11-inch photo paper.

  Cut the photo strip from the full-size page with your scissors.
