Things You'll Need
Instructions
Drill three pilot holes down the length of one 1/2-inch PVC piping using the power drill. One hole will be needed at each end and one in the middle. Repeat this step with the other 1/2-inch PVC pipe.
Place the 1/2-inch PVC piping along each edge of the long side of the 3-foot 1x4 board. Drive screws into the pilot holes to secure the PVC piping to the 1x4 board.
Position the T-shaped PVC couplers onto the 6-inch 1x4 board upside down. Align the couplers with the 3-foot PVC pipe.
Drill a pilot hole into the center of the T-shaped couplers. Drive screws into the pilot holes to secure the T-shaped couplers to the 6-inch 1x4 board.
Cut small pieces of felt to cover the screws on the T-shaped couplers using the scissors. Apply hot glue to the top of the screws, then set the cut pieces of felt in place.
Set the top of the glide track on top of the 3-foot PVC pipe. Slide the top to the left and right to verify it is sliding adequately.
