Place the two elbow joints on a table with the open ends facing up and the holes on the side facing to the right for the joint that is left of you and facing to the left for the joint that is right of you. Insert an end of a PVC pipe into the holes at the top of the two elbow joints.
Insert an end of a PVC pipe into the hole at the right side of the elbow joint that is to your left. Place a ping-pong ball on the table to the right of the free end of the pipe.
Insert an end of a PVC pipe into the hole at the left side of the elbow joint that is to your right. Balance a wood block on the top of the pipe that is in the top hole of the elbow joint to your right.
Place a grape on the table to the right of the elbow joint that is to your left. Blow up a balloon. Pinch the neck of the balloon to keep the air from escaping. Place a clothespin against the neck of the balloon and remove your fingers.
Place the neck of the balloon over the top of the pipe that is to your left. Tape the sides of the balloon to the pipe with strips of duct tape.
Press in on the sides of the clothespin to release the air from the balloon. Watch as the air escapes from the tube that is to the right of the elbow joint and pushes the ping-pong ball against the tube that is in the elbow joint to your right.
Watch as the tube that is inserted into the top of the elbow joint to your right begins to totter. Laugh as the block falls off the rod and smashes the grape.
