Fog/Jet Nozzles
The simplest model of a fog/jet nozzle is one of minimal capacity that lets water or foam be adjusted by hand from a wide-cast fog pattern to a straight jet stream. It operates with stainless cannon sprayers with an internal spray pattern. Bodies may be bronze, anodized aluminum or stainless steel.
Models With A Cut-Off Valve
Fog/jet nozzles with a cut-off valve have the same features as the simple model but have the option of stopping the flow completely by turning an outside sleeve cut-off valve. The sleeve has bronze handles that allow for easier adjustment if the operator is wearing hand gear of any kind.
Manual Hydraulic
Manual hydraulic models have similar features to the others but also are equipped with a hydraulic cylinder that may be used to move the nozzle by remote control. If hydraulics fail, manual operation will move the nozzle.
Large Capacity
Large-capacity fog/jet nozzles have a stainless-steel body and are outfitted for large-capacity water or foam flow. They are fully hydraulic and have remote capabilities for situations where the fire may prove to be volatile.
