How to Start Ballet Toes

      Wear point shoes. These shoes have specially woven fabric at the toes that supports some weight, taking the pressure off the toes.

      Point your toes. Don't scrunch them and don't stand with them loose. Make sure they are straight.

      Point the toes on one foot and support yourself with the other foot flat if you can't stand with both toes pointed. This move can take some time to learn.
