Things You'll Need
Instructions
Select a size for the square and use a ruler to draw a line of that length on a piece of paper. For example, if you select two inches, trace a pencil along the edge of the ruler for two inches.
Measure a line of the same size again, starting from one end of the first line at a 90-degree angle. Use a protractor to measure a 90-degree angle. Place the protractor flush with the line and mark the location of 90-degrees. Perform this at each end of the first line. Connect the ends of the two lines you have just drawn to complete the square. You now have one square traced, with four identical sides connected by 90-degree angles.
Use scissors to cut out the square. Cut along the lines to ensure an accurate square. You now have a geometric square.
