How to Make Doll Fingernails

Spray the hands of the doll with household cleaner. Wipe each hand thoroughly with a soft cloth. Let the hands air-dry before continuing.

Place newspaper on a table. Place the doll on the newspaper. Extend one of the hands of the doll out from the body. Have an assistant hold the hand so the fingers point upward.

Apply fingernail cement to the end of one of the fingers on the hand. Let a minute go by so the cement becomes tacky.

Peel off a fingernail that matches the finger from the fingernail card. Peel the adhesive backing off of the fingernail.

Place the fingernail against the cement on the finger so the pointed end extends past the tip of the finger. Press down on the fingernail to adhere it to the finger. Hold the fingernail down for one minute before letting go. Let the cement set for 10 minutes.

Cut off the sides of the fingernail so it does not extend past the width of the finger, using a pair of scissors.

Repeat this entire procedure of applying cement to the fingers and placing and cutting the fingernails on the fingers with the rest of the fingers on the hand. Repeat this procedure with the doll's other hand.
