Things You'll Need
Instructions
Wash the area of the body shell you wish to paint with soap and hot water. Scrub away any oils and dust particles to ensure the paint clings to the surface. Leave the body shell in a well-ventilated space to let it air dry.
Pull the monokote sheet over the curve with enough slack that it remains in contact with the surface of the body shell. The monokote shouldn't hover over the body shell like the surface of a drum; it should remain loose.
Peel away the clear backing of the monokote.
Set the heat sealing tool to 275 degrees Fahrenheit, then apply heat at the deepest point of the curve. Trace out toward the edges of the surface until the entire area is covered with the monokote.
Cut the excess monokote away from the body shell.
