How to Juggle a Pen Between Your Fingers

Thumb Around Normal

  Hold your pen with your index finger and thumb. Place your middle finger on the pen for stability.

  Push your middle finger forward and leave your thumb in place. The forward push from the middle finger should send the pen twirling around your thumb.

  Catch the pen with your middle finger and thumb, back in the position you started the trick in.

Half Tap

  Hold the pen in a writing position, with your thumb and index finger near the base of the pen and the body resting on the pad between your thumb and index finger.

  Tap the base of the pen with your index finger. The pen will spin around half of your thumb.

  Leave your hand position in place and let the pen complete a full rotation. The pen will fall back into its original starting position, completing the trick.

Sonic

  Hold your pen between your middle and ring fingers, and then lock the pen in place using your thumb and index finger. Press down on the ring finger and and up on the middle finger.

  Remove your thumb from the pen and add more pressure to the middle and ring fingers to keep the pen in place.

  Loosen pressure from all fingers and pull your middle finger towards the palm of your hand while simultaneously attempting to touch your ring ringer and index finger. The pen will spin around the top your hand once.

  Catch the pen after one complete spin using your index and middle fingers, using with your thumb for support.
