How to Write Your Own Message on a White Board

Whiteboards can be commonly found in schools, offices and meeting areas. You may also have a small whiteboard in your kitchen or next to your phone for taking notes and leaving messages to others who live with you. Writing your own message on a whiteboard requires using a special type of marker to avoid damaging the surface of the board.

Instructions

  Obtain a dry-erase marker. As these markers are required for writing on a whiteboard, you may find one close to the whiteboard itself. If not, you will have to delay your writing until you can purchase or otherwise obtain one.

  Remove the cap from the dry-erase marker.

  Hold the marker in your hand the same way you would hold a normal pen or marker.

  Touch the tip of the marker to the whiteboard.
- 5
  Write your message on the whiteboard the same way you would write on paper.

  Replace the cap on the marker once you are done.
