How to Modify the Header Pipe on RC Cars

  Loosen the two bolts that fasten the exhaust pipe to the engine's carburetor. The header pipe is the curved portion of the pipe, while the straight section is the exhaust.

  Pull the exhaust pipe from the header to separate the two, then slide the silicone connector off the header.

  Press the modified header pipe through the silicone connector, then slide the exhaust pipe onto the header. Position the header pipe's mounting plate against the engine's carburetor, then fasten it with the two mounting screws.
