Insert the pinion gear over the motor's main shaft, then fasten it in position by tightening the snub screw and the hex wrench.

Slide the motor shaft down through the motor mounting bracket, then secure it with two screws. Insert the motor and bracket into the helicopter chassis, then fasten it with four screws and four washers (two on either side).

Connect the three motor wires to the electronic speed control (ESC).
