Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the forklift, then remove the key to ensure that it isn't accidentally turned on during the modification process.

    • 2

Unscrew the forklift driver's bench, then lift it up to gain access to the battery compartment. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery by unscrewing the connector.

    • 3

Strip 1/2 inch from both ends of the additional wire, then connect it between the negative terminal of the original battery and the positive terminal of the battery being added.

    • 4

Place the new battery in the battery compartment, then connect the positive wire leading from the forklift to the positive terminal of the additional battery. Tighten all the wire connectors with an insulated screwdriver.

    • 5

Close the battery compartment by flipping the driver's bench back down, then fasten it with the screwdriver.
