Find a location on the dashboard to mount the bezel and steering wheel. You should have a minimum one foot clearance area from the center of the bezel outwards on either side. Refer to the bezel kit manual for advice on finding a location with proper clearance.
Place the bezel mounting bracket template that was included with you bezel kit on the dashboard. Use a pencil to mark the locations for holes to be drilled.
Place the 3/8ths inch diameter drill bit in the drill and drill out the small holes marked from the template. Change to the 3.25 inch hole cutter but and drill out the large central hole.
Line the mounting bracket up on the holes drilled in the dashboard. Push three hex bolts through the bracket and the drilled holes. Thread a washer and a locknut onto each bolt. Tighten the bolts with the torque wrench to a a torque of at least 110 inch-pounds but no more than 145 inch-pounds.
Place the helm steering shaft into the central hole in the mounting bracket. Insert three hex bolts through the mounting bracket holes and into the helm. Thread washers and locknuts onto the bolts. Tighten with the torque wrench to between 75 and 120 inch-pounds.
Place the bezel on the center shaft, behind the dash. Place the self tapping screws into the bezel and tighten with the screwdriver.
Insert the Woodruff key into the small slot on the steering shaft. Place the steering wheel on the shaft, align the keyway on the wheel with the key in the shaft. Place the large steering wheel washer and locknut over the center of the wheel. Tighten with the torque wrench to between 240 and 320 inch-pounds.
