How to Take Apart the Yukon Monocular Night Vision

Yukon brand monocular night vision scopes help hunters and other outdoor enthusiasts track animals and find their way during the night without attracting attention by lighting a flashlight. You might want to take your monocular night vision scope apart at the end of the hunting season before you place the product in storage. There are few removable parts, making preparing the unit for storage a breeze. The unit should be stored in its carry case when not in use.

Instructions

    • 1

Wipe any dust off the lens using suitable lens cleaning supplies or blow the glass clean using a can of compressed air.

    • 2

Clip the lens cap over the lens if it hasn't already been replaced. The lens cap is usually stored in a slot on the side of the scope.

    • 3

Press the "ON" button on top of the camera to shut off the power.

    • 4

Twist the battery cover, located above and to the right of the lens, off the scope.

    • 5

Tip the battery out of the scope and catch it in your hand. Screw the battery cover back on.

    • 6

Twist off the lens, if possible on your model, and place it in the carry case. This step is optional.

    • 7

Place the scope in its carry case with the battery. Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated room away from heating or air-conditioning vents. Yukon recommends that you remove the battery before you store the scope longer than two months.
