Things You'll Need
Instructions
Teleporting Card
Get two identical decks of cards. They must have matching faces and backs in every detail.
Stack one of the decks of cards so that you know the top four cards. Let us say, for example, that you have the ace of spades, the king of hearts, the queen of diamonds and the ace of hearts.
Take the matching ace of spades, king of hearts, queen of diamonds and ace of hearts from the second deck and stack them on the bottom of the deck in reverse order. This means that the ace of spades will be the very bottom card on the deck and the very top card in the deck and so on.
Find an audience to show your trick to. It is important that they not be allowed to see the bottom of your deck, so hold the deck so that your hand covers the bottom of the deck.
Ask an audience member to take the top two cards from the deck, look at them, and memorize them. You can also have them show the cards to other audience members, but instruct them not to let you see their cards.
Cut the deck in the middle and have them slide both their cards in the middle of the deck.
Say the magic words of your choice and tap the top of the deck three times.
Pull the bottom two cards off the bottom of the deck and show them to your audience. Ask them if these are the right cards.
Slide these cards into the center of the deck and repeat the trick with the second matched deck of cards if you want to. You will then have to reset the deck before you can perform the trick again.
Infinite Balls
Cut a piece of fishing string half of the length of your handkerchief. This will be used to attach the ping pong ball to the handkerchief for the trick.
Attach the ping pong ball to the fishing string with a small dot of super glue. Attach the opposite end of the fishing string to the top edge of the handkerchief with another small dot of glue.
Set a hat on a table top in front of you. You will use this as a prop during the trick.
Hold the handkerchief in front of you by the front corners so that the ping pong ball is hidden from the audience by the handkerchief.
Starting at the left corner gather the handkerchief into your hand wadding it up into a ball. As you crumble the handkerchief also gather up the string and the ball without letting the audience see either.
Open your hand and carefully unroll the wad, lifting the ball from the handkerchief and showing it to the crowd. This gives the illusion that you pulled the ball out of nowhere.
Drop the ball into the hat holding the ball in your right hand and the handkerchief in your left. Make sure that the handkerchief is kept close enough to the hat to keep the illusion going while still maintaining a posture that looks natural.
Hold the handkerchief back up in front of you and repeat the trick. Repeat as many times as necessary for your act. At the end of the trick, set the handkerchief aside.
