Things You'll Need
Instructions
Clean your ball. Use the type of cleaner recommended for your specific ball. You can use abrasive, polish, pro-action or reaction cleaners. You will need to coat the ball in the cleaner and insert it into a ball spinner. Afterward, use a clean towel to wipe the ball off. This will begin to eliminate sand lines.
Polish your ball. You can find polish grits between 600 and 5,000. The higher the grit, the finer the finish. Higher grit finishes cost more money. You should start with a low level grit. Coat the ball in that grit and put it into a ball spinner. Afterward, wipe the ball off with a clean towel. You can then move to a higher grit and repeat the process. You should eliminate all sand lines via this method.
Test your ball. Make sure the ball rolls down the lane smoothly. If it still seems affected by sand lines, you may need to repeat the process.
