Things You'll Need
Instructions
Hold two plies of wool together and wrap around for 19 pegs, then wrap back to the first peg. Make 7 rows like this.
Wrap the thumb from peg 7 to peg 1.
Push down the wool on pegs 19, 18 and 17 and then wrap pegs 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18 and 17. Wrap back to peg 24. Make 11 of these rows.
Put the stitch from peg 17 to 18 and then stitch from 24 to 23. Knit these off, meaning hook the wrap.
Repeat this process until you move the stitch from peg 20 to 21 and knit off.
Cut a tail double the thumb's length. Pull the tail tightly under the stitch with the crochet hook.
Create a 1/2 inch knot over the first peg and wrap this around the pegs until you get to peg 19. Make seven rows like this.
Wrap from 24 to 20, return to 24 and finally knit off.
Move 20 to 21 and wrap from 22 to 24 before you knit off.
Do the same with pegs 21 to 22 and 23 to 24. Repeat the same process again with 22 to 23 and wrap peg 24.
Move peg 23 to 24 and 24 to 25, knitting off after each movement.
Knit 6 rows like this or 7 if it doesn't end at the bottom half of the glove. Leave a tail roughly three times the loom's circumference.
Sew the thumb from the top until three rows from the bottom.
Fingers
Start the index finger on pegs 1 and 2 and make them using the same technique as you did the thumb. The index finger should be 11 rows.
Start the 13-row middle finger on pegs 3 and 4, then the 11-row ring finger on pegs 5 and 6. Make this like you made the thumb and index finger.
Begin the little finger on peg 7 and make it 9 rows. Knit this finger as you did the others.
Casting off the Glove
Thread the tail you made in step 6 through a needle.
Lift all of the remaining stitches and thread the tail through them all.
Cut a piece of wool and sew the sides together, stopping when you reach the thumb. Sew the thumb onto the glove and also the extra part that sticks out.
Sew up each finger and then sew them to the glove from the tails.
