Instructions
Fly the aircraft as normal, but instead of correcting minor errors with the joysticks -- using the steering joystick to maintain a straight flight path -- turn to the trim adjustment sliders for corrections.
Fly the airplane in a straight line with the steering joystick centered, then use the trim slider to adjust the aircraft if it fails to maintain a straight path. The steering trim slider is found underneath the right steering joystick. If the airplane veers left or right, offset this by moving the trim slider in the opposite direction. Make small adjustments until the plane flies straight.
Fly the airplane and leave the elevator control centered while you observe the altitude of the aircraft at full throttle. The elevator trim runs vertically beside the left joystick. Use the elevator trim to offset any vertical movement of the aircraft. For example, if the aircraft rises slightly instead of maintaining a single altitude, slide the elevator trim down until this is corrected.
Fly the airplane and leave the aileron and elevator controls centered while you observe the altitude of the aircraft at full throttle. The aileron trim runs vertically beside the right joystick. Use the aileron trim to correct any rolling of the aircraft, for example, if it banks left slightly, offset it by moving the aileron trim to the right until it is corrected.
