How to Wire a Honeywell R8184-1051

Installing a Honeywell R8184 on your furnace will prevent oil loss if your flame goes out. The Honeywell 8184 is a protective device that is attached to the furnace and is controlled by a flame sensor, or CAD cell. The sensor detects when there is a flame present in the furnace. If the flame has gone out, the R8184 will turn off the burner motor to prevent oil waste. This will save you a great deal of money in terms of heating oil.
