How to Paint a Hunter Face

From purchasing expensive equipment to traveling long distances, people go to great lengths to hunt their animal of choice. One of the most important aspects of hunting is the ability to blend in with the animal's environment. If an animal notices a predator in its midst, it will immediately leave and your hunt will be over. To blend in, you will need to understand the basics of camouflaging your appearance.

Instructions

Select a paint that is formulated to be worn on your face. You will need a color that is appropriate to the environment you will be hunting in. Get at least three different shades of face paint to create a natural look. Common face paint colors include green, brown and black.

    • 2

Apply a base coat to cover all areas of your face and neck that will be visible. Use brown or green paint for your base coat, as these will appear more natural than black. Apply the base coat color to your eye lids and ears.

    • 3

Create lines or leaf designs on your face to conceal the contours of your nose and check bones. Use the brown and black paint for creating these lines and shapes. Avoid making the shapes and lines too big, as oversized lines may look like stripes. Create blotches on large areas, such as the forehead and cheeks.
