Things You'll Need
Instructions
Apply WD-40 to the hinges of the camper's doors to eliminate squeaking when you're moving in and out of the vehicle.
Remove window screens from any windows you plan to shoot from. You can take off most screen panels by removing the screws on the exterior of the vehicle around the window frame. For other screens, you can simply unlatch plastic clips on the exterior of the vehicle.
Place roof mats atop the camper to create a more comfortable sitting surface.
Measure the distance between the eyelets on your fabric hunting hide panels.
Mark out the locations for the eyelet screws that will hold the hunting hide panels in place. To ensure a good fit, the distance between the screws should be about 1 inch less than the distance between the eyelets on the panels. Place the screws in a horizontal row that extends around the entire vehicle, just below the camper roof.
Drill holes and insert the eyelet screws. The distance between the eyelets on the fabric panels determines the distance between the eyelet screws.
Apply a bead of all-purpose silicone caulking around the eyelet screws at the point where they meet the side of the camper. Allow the caulk to dry according to directions on the packaging.
Hang waterproof camouflage hunting hide panels from the eyelet hooks to cover the vehicle when you're ready to begin hunting.
