Find your engine's cylinder size. Divide your engine size (i.e. 25cc, 49cc) by 16.3871. The result of this equation is your cylinder size in cubic inches (i.e. 2.99 cubic inches for a 49cc moped engine).
Find the height of your cylinder. Divide your cylinder's cubic inch measurement by .785., which is the result of multiplying 3.14 (pi) by the radius squared of your cylinder. Most cylinders have a 1-inch diameter, giving us a radius of .50-inch (.50 squared is .25)
Find the volume of the boost bottle that will fit your particular engine. A boost bottle should either be the same size as your cylinder or slightly smaller, but not larger. Use the equation V=3.14(.25)(height) to determine the appropriate boost bottle volume size that will fit perfectly to your moped's engine.
