Instructions

    • 1

Check the guitar body to ensure it is evenly sanded and smooth. Put the face mask on to cover your nose and mouth.

    • 2

Apply one even coat of spray-on lacquer primer. Allow to completely dry in accordance with the lacquer primer directions, usually two to three hours. Apply a second even coat and allow to dry completely.

    • 3

Apply one even coat of spray-on satin lacquer paint. Allow to dry completely in accordance with the paint directions. Spray on a total of six to eight coats of paint, depending on the coverage of the paint and the color. Lighter colors may need extra coats.

    • 4

Spray on six to eight layers of clear lacquer, allowing each to dry before spraying the next.
