Instructions

    • 1

Observe the area you are mimicking with your camouflage. Look for the darkest colors, and the colors that fall in the spectrum between dark and light. Make a note of the main colors you see, or take a photograph using a digital camera.

    • 2

Unfocus your eyes and and draw an abstract representation of the light, medium and dark areas of the camo environment. You might also work from a standard camouflage template.

    • 3

Lay a sheet of transparency paper over your drawing or over the camo design template. Trace the design onto the transparency sheet using a permanent marker.

    • 4

Paint the hardwood surface with two coats of primer.

    • 5

Place the transparency sheet with the camo design in front of a bright lamp. The lamp projects the image on your hardwood work surface.

    • 6

Trace the projected camo design on the hardwood using the permanent marker.

    • 7

Paint the camo design on the wood.
