Schedule your time every day. Once you wake up, write down all the items you need to cross off your list. Organize the items in a way you can get them done and try to anticipate how long each task will take. Write down the time you hope to have the task completed.
Wake up at a decent hour. If you get onto a poor sleeping schedule and are waking up in the afternoon, you will be less likely to finish your tasks because businesses will be closed and you could be less motivated late in the night to do any work.
Set a goal each month of tasks you hope to accomplish. For example, if you want to complete a workshop on cooking by the end of the month, write that down and decide when you will attend the classes. You need to have time available to meet your goals.
Cross off each item on your list as you finish it. This will give you a feeling that you have accomplished something, and it will encourage you to continue to finish your long list of items.
Decrease your workload. If you are finding there simply aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done, then you need to figure out what you can give up and still achieve your important goals. Decide what's most important to you. Relationships will often suffer because the spouse has little time to give after work or school commitments.
