Instructions
Call your local recycling centers to inquire about recycling your old keg, depending on its material. Some recycling centers will openly take your keg to help get rid of the item for you.
Contact keg retailers and party supply shops about selling your keg or giving it away to them if they accept kegs (depending on the material and condition).
Give the keg to a friend who is a home brewer of beer or other alcohol, as he will have the ability to use the keg repeatedly with proper care.
List the keg online to sell locally or to ship it anywhere you would like. Use online services to list the keg including pictures and the price wanted for the item. Alternatively, list the item online in "free" sections to rid the keg quicker.
