How to Get a Beta on FanFiction.Net

Fanfiction.net lets writers of fan fiction post their stories for the world to read. People can write about television shows, books or movies, then post the stories up for others to review. A beta reader can be a great benefit to the writer because the beta reader can review the writer's work before it is posted and offer grammar, spelling and character-related advice. Fanfiction.net has a section where writers can connect with beta readers to look over their stories.

Instructions

  Connect to the Fan fiction website with your favorite browser (See Resources). Log into the Fan fiction website by typing in your user name and password and pressing the "log in" button. Register for the fan fiction website by clicking on the register button and entering your name, your desired user name, your email address and contact information.

  Click on the "Beta Readers" link to search for a beta reader in the section of fan fiction that best fits your story. Click on the link that best describes your fan fiction story.

  Click on the name of a beta reader and click "Send Message." Request that the beta reader review your work.
