Instructions
Connect the power cord from the battery charger to a working AC outlet. Place the Spektrum controller onto the charger face up and you will see a "Charging" light come on to indicate it is charging. Let the controller charge for 24 hours before taking it off the charger for its first use.
Turn on the aircraft that you want to use the controller with. Press and hold both the "Scroll" and "Increase" buttons on the controller while simultaneously flipping the "Power" switch to turn on the remote. If done correctly, you will see words appear on the screen. Release the buttons and press the "Scroll" button repeatedly until "Typ" appears on the screen.
Press the "Increase" and "Decrease" buttons to choose the type of aircraft that you are binding the controller to. "AC" refers to airplanes. Note that you can only bind this controller to parkflyer type airplanes. "He" refers to any type of helicopter. When the correct type of aircraft you want is on the screen, do not press any buttons and you will eventually see the type displayed above "11.0V."
Flip the power switch to the "Off" position and wait one second. Turn the power switch to the "On" position again and you will see a number displayed on the screen along with "Throttle," "Aileron," "Elevator" or "Rudder." Center the controls for each item until the number reads zero to calibrate the controls.
