Things You'll Need
Instructions
Cut green-leaf cotton fabric into 6-inch-wide panels.
Measure the upper torso from shoulder to waist and add 5 inches. Cut two lengths of fabric, cut to this measurement, from the 6-inch pieces.
Connect the fabric at the shoulder seam, with the right sides together.
Lay this seam across one shoulder and situate the fabric panels so that they lay flat across the front and back torso.
Pin the bottom diagonal seam at the hip bone so it rests flat against the body.
Sew this lower seam and cut off the excess green fabric.
Turn both long edges of the badge sash under, and stitch a 1/4-inch seam allowance along the two edges to form a finished border.
Press all seams flat with an iron.
