Unscrew the cap from the back of the green laser pointer. Remove the batteries and place them and the cap aside. Place the green laser pointer horizontally on a work surface, with the side-mounted power button facing up. Rotate the laser so the side-mounted power button is now facing down.
Tape the front and back of the green laser pointer to the work surface, using strips of duct tape.
Drill a into the side of the laser pointer, opposite the power button, using a portable drill. Run the drill bit around the inside edges of the hole to enlarge the opening.
Insert the tip of a flat-edged jeweler's screwdriver into the screw inside the hole. Rotate the screwdriver a quarter-turn clockwise to increase the MW intensity of the laser.
Place a strip of duct tape over the hole. Remove the duct tape from both ends of the green laser pointer. Place the batteries back inside the battery compartment and screw the cap back on.
