Spray Insecticides
Spray insecticides around the perimeter of your camper to keep tiny bugs from coming in. Choose one that is made to withstand rain and dew. Make sure you spray around cracks and crevices where bugs can get in, such as around doorways and windows.
Baits
Baits will draw tiny bugs into them and will kill them once the bug has eaten it. The bait will keep the tiny bugs from coming into the camper by attracting them to the bait instead. When putting the bait out, try to place one bait about 10 feet from each corner of the camper. If it rains or gets extremely windy, you may have to remove the bait to keep it from getting destroyed by the elements.
Natural Repellents
Natural repellents such as oil of lemon eucalyptus repel bugs such as mosquitoes and ticks. To use, place the repellent in shallow containers, and put the containers around each side of the camper. Natural repellents can be harmful to children and animals if they ingest it, so keep them away from it.
Alternative Methods
One way to keep tiny bugs from coming into a camper is to make sure the camper is not an inviting place for them. Do not leave food or standing water around. Pick up blankets and sleeping bags off the ground to keep bugs from wanting to nest in them. Make sure the camper's windows and doors are sealed properly as well.
