How to Install an MCX Inner Shaft

The MCX is a miniature, radio-controlled helicopter manufactured by Blade. This coaxial aircraft uses two sets of main rotors that spin in opposite directions, providing control and maneuverability. Instructions

      Slide one end of the inner shaft into the upper rotor head and stabilizer, then slide the bottom end of the shaft down through the bushing holder on top of the outer shaft, then insert the inner through the outer shaft.

      Insert the inner shaft through the lower rotor head, through the upper swashplate, the bearing, and the lower swashplate. Slide the inner shaft down through the main frame, then through an outer-shaft bearing, the outer-shaft main gear, the inner shaft main gear, and the inner-shaft main gear retaining collar.

      Use the hex wrench to tighten the two screws on the lower rotor head, one screw on the outer shaft retaining collar, and the one screw on the inner shaft main gear retaining collar. All of these screws will fasten the respective components onto the shaft assembly.
