Marinette Boat Specs

Marinette Yachts, Inc., is based in Marquette, Michigan, and has been designing and building both standard and custom boats for over 50 years. These boats are designed for all water types and a variety of boating activities, and can be purchased used for under $10,000 or brand new for $150,000 or more. Some specifications come standard on all Marinette boats, while others are optional depending on the model.
  1. Structure and Size

    • All Marinette boats are built using aluminum alloys that offer durability and resist rusting, warping and cracking. Custom boats vary in length from 15 to 50 feet, but Marinette has also made a range of standard series boats over the years. A smaller boat such as the Marinette 28 Express is 28 feet in length. Standard models increase in size, including the 31-foot Fisherman, the 32-foot Express and Sedan, the 37-foot Marquis, the 39-foot double cabin, and the 41-foot Motor Yacht. Beam length varies from 10 feet on the Fisherman to 14 feet on the Motor Yacht, and maximum draft ranges from 2 feet to 3 1/2 feet. Weights range from 7,000 pounds for 28 foot models to 12,000 pounds for the 39 foot double cabin.

    Engines and Capacities

    • Marinette boats have been built with a variety of engines such as the Chrysler 318, the Twin Crusader 454 cid and the Crusader 454XL. The 28- and 31-foot models have 100-gallon fuel tanks, 32-foot models hold 200 gallons, the 37-foot models hold 230 gallons and the 41-foot Motor Yacht is built with two aluminum gas tanks that hold 175 gallons each. Smaller yachts have 35-gallon fresh water tanks. The Motor Yacht holds 60 gallons, while the Marquis contains a 120-gallon tank.

    Electrical, Mechanical and Navigation

    • All Marinette boats come with an array of electrical, mechanical and navigational features. Fish finders, auto pilots, radio communications, generators and battery systems are commonly included. Older models may use manual steering, while newer boats utilize hydraulic steering. Both manual and automatic bilge pumps are available. Newer boats may also contain GPS navigation systems.

    Amenities

    • A wide range of standard and optional on-board equipment and amenities are available in Marinette boats. Sliding windows and doors, refrigerators and microwaves, burners, stainless steel sinks, and hot and cold water systems come standard on the 32-foot Express, Fisherman, and Sedan. Plush carpeting, dinettes, tinted glass, and television and other electronic entertainment systems can be included.
