Things You'll Need
Instructions
Draw the pattern you want to cut out of your nylon fabric onto tracing paper first if it's a complex pattern you don't want to cut freehand.
Place the tracing paper on top of your nylon fabric. Tape it down to make sure it doesn't slide.
Use a transfer pencil to retrace the pattern you made and transpose it onto your nylon fabric.
Cut along the pattern on your nylon fabric using large scissors. Test the scissors out on a scrap piece of nylon to make sure they cut smoothly and evenly.
Fold over the edges of the nylon fabric and use a sewing machine to create seam along the edge that will prevent fraying. Set your machine to a 2 millimeter stitch setting in order to create a longer lasting seam.
