Clothing
Because you are camping with the Cub Scout group, it is important to pack your uniform for official ceremonies and excursions. Additionally, pack a pair of shorts and a T-shirt for each day, as well as two changes of socks and underwear for each day, as well. Also include two pairs of pajamas and a sturdy pair of shoes. You might also want to bring along a raincoat and a pair of swimming trunks, in the event that you camp somewhere nearby a swimming hole.
Accessories
In addition to an umbrella and rain boots in the event of inclement weather, you might also want to pack a hat and a pair of sunglasses. Pack a belt to wear with your uniform and gloves if you are camping at higher altitudes or during colder months.
Toiletries
Despite the fact that you are camping, you still need some personal effects for hygienic purposes. In these instances, it is best to buy travel sized portions to ensure a good fit in your backpack. Pack a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, deodorant, mouthwash, a comb or brush, sunscreen, lotion and insect spray. You might also pack a small towel and washcloth.
Supplies
When camping with the Cub Scouts, you are expected to learn to become more proficient at living and surviving outdoors. Bring along a few supplies to ensure maximum comfort and safety, including a first aid kit, a water bottle, watch, mess kit, tent and lantern with extra batteries, according to the Boy Scout Trail website. Don't forget a sleeping bag, pillow and blanket.
