How To Make a Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Case

Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are a popular collector's item. They feature photos and statistics relating to characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! television series and spinoffs. The cards are used both for trading and gaming purposes. Because of their value, it is important to keep the cards in the best condition possible. The easiest way to do this is to store them in a case. You can make your own Yu-Gi-Oh! card case in just a few steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Place two Yu Gi Oh! cards side by side on a piece of card stock.

    • 2

Trace the outline of the cards onto the card stock with a pencil.

    • 3

Cut the traced section out of the card stock with scissors.

    • 4

Fold the remaining piece of card stock in half so that it approximates the size of one Yu-Gi-Oh! card.

    • 5

From the second piece of card stock cut two rectangles that measure 2 inches by 3 inches.

    • 6

Fold the two rectangles into "accordions," bending the papers back and forth until each one has six rectangular folds.

    • 7

Line up each "accordion" on either side of the card stock that has been folded in half, between the two folded pieces.

    • 8

Place a line of acrylic craft glue on each side of the two accordion pieces.

    • 9

Set one accordion piece back within the card stock and press down on the card stock to secure it in place. Repeat with the other accordion piece on the other side.

    • 10

Decorate the exterior of the case to your liking, using markers.
