Instructions
Lube the spent cases with sizing lube.
Install the neck-sizing die in the reloading press. Raise the press's ram all the way up by lowering the press's handle. Screw the sizing die down until it makes contact with the shell holder. Tighten the locking ring on the die body, and then lower the ram.
Place the lubed cartridge case in the shell holder, and then raise the ram. As the cartridge enters the die body, the decapping pin in the middle of the die pushes out the spent primer. As the ram nears the top of its stroke, the die re-sizes the neck of the casing by squeezing it to a smaller diameter. Lower the ram. The expander ball stretches the case neck to the appropriate diameter. Remove the sizing die.
Load the tray of the priming tool with new primers. Insert the sized case in the priming tool's shell holder, and squeeze the lever. The lever raises a ram that seats the new primer in the primer pocket of the casing.
Consult your reloading manual to determine the powder type and weight for the exact bullet you are using.
Set the reloading scale to the grain-weight charge of powder you selected. Pour the powder in the reloading scale's tray. The pointer reads zero when the correct amount of powder is in the tray.
Install the seating die in the press; set the depth according to the manufacturer's instructions. Place the charged case in the press's shell holder; place a bullet on top of the case mouth. Raise the ram to seat the bullet. Use the vernier calipers to measure the case's overall length. Adjust the seater plug -- located in the center of the seating die -- to seat the bullet deeper if necessary.
